US Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer is to leave her job, the White House said Monday, departing after a tenure beset by a series of ethics scandals and becoming the third woman to leave President Donald Trump’s cabinet.
“Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer will be leaving the Administration to take a position in the private sector,” Trump’s communications director Steven Cheung announced on X, praising the “phenomenal job” she had done in the role.
