Leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, hosted former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar at his Kano residence, on Wednesday.
Accompanied by some chieftains of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kwankwaso said he was delighted to receive the visitors.
Taking to his social media handle, Kwankwaso wrote: “I was honoured to receive my dear brother, former Vice President, H.E. Atiku Abubakar, and his esteemed entourage at my residence in Abuja this afternoon.
“Accompanying him were H.E. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Alhaji Kashim Imam, Senator Dino Melaye, Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri, and several other distinguished leaders.
“I used the opportunity to personally thank the Wazirin Adamawa for his warm reception into the ADC and to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to delivering victory for the party at all levels.”
On his part, Atiku wrote, “I paid a courtesy visit to the residence of my brother and partner, His Excellency Rabiu Kwankwaso, this afternoon. We had quality discussions on the progress of our party, the ADC, and how we must continue the work to ensure good governance and recovery are achieved in good time for the people.”
