Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has buried four members who were killed in the attack on Anguwan Rukuba community in Jos North local government area of Plateau state.
Twenty-right persons were confirmed killed while many sustained injuries when gunmen attacked the community on Sunday night.
On Saturday, select family members of those affected and the Chief Imam of Jos Central Mosque, Sheikh Ghazali Ismaila Adam, held the funeral prayer for the deceased at the Babale Burial Cemetery and thereafter buried them.
The funeral prayer was held at the Cemetery to avert tension.
The Chief Imam, who led the prayer, condoled with the affected families and asked them to be patient, considering the incident as a decree from Allah.
The Chief Imam also called on the general public to desist from making statements capable of generating tension, emphasizing that nothing is better than peace.
