According to the statement, his death came as a shock to his family, friends and members of the Nigerian community because he was not known to be ill
“His passing came as a devastating shock to everyone, as he was not known to be ill He went to sleep and sadly did not wake up,” the statement read.
The community described Nelson’s death as a painful loss
It called on well-wishers to offer prayers, love and comfort to the family as they cope with the loss
