Nigerian content creator and media personality Nicole Chikwe, wife of rapper Naeto C, is setting the tone for creators on social media: be unapologetically yourself.
Speaking at Funke Akindele’s Creative Blueprint Masterclass, Chikwe shared her personal approach to standing out in a crowded digital space.
“My uniqueness is being myself. I am a very unique person because I am unapologetically me,” she said. “It’s easy to get carried away—you see people doing things a certain way or creating content that seems to work for them. But social media audiences are discerning, and if it’s not genuine, it shows. I’ve found that sticking to who I am and letting that shine through is what truly resonates.”
She added, “It’s easy to get distracted and try many things, but I’ve decided to focus on just one thing: being myself.”
The masterclass, attended by creators, entrepreneurs, and media professionals, explored strategies for building personal brands and staying authentic in today’s fast-moving digital landscape. Nicole’s advice serves as a timely reminder that true influence comes from being real, not copying trends.
