The Chairman of the Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Kabir Bature Sarkin Alhazai, has resigned
Sarkin Alhazai was appointed by Governor Dikko Umar Radda in 2023
He announced his resignation in a letter addressed to the Secretary to the Katsina State Government, although he did not disclose any reason for the decision
In the letter, he expressed appreciation to Governor Radda for giving him the opportunity to serve the state, saying his time at the board allowed him to dedicate himself to the service of the people
He also thanked the state government for the opportunity to serve, while expressing appreciation for the cooperation and support he received from the Secretary to the State Government, members of the State Executive Council, staff of the Pilgrims Welfare Board and other stakeholders during his tenure
Alhazai is the third political appointee of the Radda administration to leave office in recent days
