Revitalizing Grassroots Support in Katsina State
In a significant effort to breathe new life into the political movement established by the late Senator Mahmud Kanti Bello, leaders and loyalists have initiated a campaign aimed at rejuvenating the grassroots framework in Katsina State.
Strategic Meeting at Senator's Residence
This renewed initiative was unveiled during a strategic gathering hosted at the residence of the late senator, organized by his son, Engr. Mustapha Kanti Bello, who now heads the group.
The meeting drew coordinators from all 34 local government areas of the state, alongside key members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), marking a unified effort to regain the movement's influence in anticipation of future electoral contests.
Commitment to Core Values
During the meeting, Engr. Mustapha Kanti Bello addressed attendees, articulating the initiative's objective to reconstruct the powerful political structure his father once led, which had garnered substantial grassroots support throughout the region.
He underscored the importance of the core values of integrity, service, and loyalty that characterized the late senator's leadership, calling on members to reaffirm their commitment to these principles.
“Our task is to revive this structure and sustain the legacy he left behind. Leadership must be inclusive and responsive to the needs of the people,” Engr. Mustapha Kanti Bello declared.
