The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for candidates who sat the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18.
In a statement issued on Sunday by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board said a total of 1,264,940 results from the two days have now been made available for candidates to access.
This latest batch adds to the 632,752 results earlier released for candidates who wrote the examination on Thursday, April 16, bringing the total number of results released so far to 1,897,692.
JAMB explained that the results released to date span the first three days of the nationwide examination, noting that more results would be released in phases as the marking and verification process continues.
Candidates have been advised to check their results via the official SMS channels by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.
