The management of the IBB International Golf and Country Club, Abuja, has corrected what it described as inaccurate representation of the composition of its Board of Trustees (BoT) in some publications and online platforms
In a statement signed by the club’s general manager, Kalip B Jauwi, the management noted that it was necessary to put the accurate and official composition of the board in the public domain.
The statement listed Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, CFR as the chairperson of the Board of Trustees Other members are Otunba Segun Runsewe; Sunday Ibrahim Ameh, Hamid Abbo, Rear Admiral Victor Olugbemi Adedipe (retd.); Chief (Mrs) Grace Ihonvbere; Benjamin E. Okoko; Senator Chukwuka Utazi and Suleiman H. Adamu.
The management emphasised that the nine-member list represented the current and official composition of the club’s Board of Trustees
It urged media organisations, online news platforms, bloggers and social media publishers that had previously circulated incomplete or inaccurate lists to correct their records and update their publications
The club also advised members of the public and the media to verify information concerning the club and its governing organs through official channels to prevent the further circulation of inaccurate information
