The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Ekiti governorship election, Wole Oluyede, is banking on the people’s support for the exercise, saying he has no “godfather”.
Oluyede spoke on Thursday’s edition of Channels Television’s Politics Today, arguing that his support base is enough to land him the exalted seat.
“The truth about it on record is that everybody knows that the godfather I have is the people – the people themselves,” he said when asked about who is backing him.
