A letter to Dr Mohammed Goje,
This may be the last time I address you informally, because Almighty Allah has lifted you to heights beyond what many of us ever imagined Do I need to tell you that I trust you? No. I have no doubt whatsoever in your capacity, commitment, and character.
Go all out and deliver, because delivering is what you know best I assure you that you will always find us beside you—in person, in prayers, and in spirit.
To His Excellency, Governor Mai Mala Buni,
You may not fully appreciate the bond of brotherhood you have created among us Many of us were friends before you became Governor of our dear state. Through your leadership, however, you have transformed those friendships into something much deeper—you have turned us into brothers.
You have brought together people who once barely knew one another and created a bond strong enough for us to share not only our aspirations, but also our deepest concerns, hopes, and responsibilities
For this, we say a very big thank you, Your Excellency, for your leadership and for the relationships you have nurtured
The next ten months are crucial for us and for the future of Yobe We therefore respectfully urge you, Your Excellency, not to forsake this brotherhood you have built. Continue to guide, unite, and inspire us.
To my brothers, whom Governor Buni has brought together as one:
This is the time to stand firmly together—to support one another, grow together, and blossom together
We possess in abundance the intellect, will, courage, discipline, energy, and determination required to make a difference These qualities may exist in each of us individually, but their greatest strength lies in our shared brotherhood, unity, and collective purpose.
The present and future of Yobe belong to all of us It is our responsibility to help shape it with wisdom, integrity, loyalty, and service.
May Almighty Allah strengthen our bond, guide our steps, grant our leaders wisdom, and make the journey easy for us all
May the brotherhood endure May Yobe prosper.
