Gabon international forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has signed with Spanish team Deportivo La Coruna, transferring from Marseille on a deal that extends until 2028, the newly promoted La Liga club revealed on Friday.
Aubameyang, who had a year remaining on his contract with the Ligue 1 club, departs after 92 appearances and 44 goals.
The 37-year-old came to Marseille in the summer of 2023 and made his comeback in 2025 after spending a season with the Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah.
In a statement, the Spanish club remarked, 'His career showcases remarkable consistency at the top level.'
The experienced forward has played for prominent teams, such as Borussia Dortmund in Germany and Arsenal and Chelsea in the English Premier League. Four years ago, he had a six-month period at Barcelona, where he netted 13 goals in 24 appearances. After spending eight seasons away from Spain's top division, Deportivo La Coruna is making its return to La Liga.
