Emir's Eid Sermon: A Call for Compassion and Social Harmony
On the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, the Emir of Kano, Mohammadu Sanusi II, delivered a powerful sermon to thousands of faithful at the Kofar Mata Eid Ground. The Emir emphasized the true essence of Ramadan, urging Muslims to embody the values of charity, patience, and self-discipline long after the month of fasting concludes.

Sanusi II highlighted the importance of extending acts of kindness and generosity to those in need, particularly orphans and vulnerable members of society. He stressed that such compassion strengthens social bonds and fosters a more cohesive community.
Prayer for Peace and National Development
The Emir made a heartfelt appeal to Muslims to intensify prayers for peaceful coexistence not only in Kano State but across Nigeria. He emphasized the crucial role of unity and harmony in driving national progress and development.

In his prayers, Sanusi extended his wishes for global peace and stability. Additionally, he expressed optimism for a productive rainy season, hoping it would bring a bumper harvest and improved livelihoods for farmers.

The traditional leader also emphasized the importance of proper upbringing, urging parents and caregivers to take an active role in monitoring and guiding their children. He believes this is essential for building a morally upright and decent society.
