The Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, has reiterated his administration’s readiness to welcome foreign and local investors, describing the state as one of the safest and most viable investment hubs in the region.
He made the declaration on Sunday at the Government House Chapel in Abakaliki, while giving an account of his nine-day official working visit to China.
Addressing the congregation, the Governor revealed that the state delegation held high-level, productive engagements with strategic foreign investors aimed at driving economic growth.
”The outcome of our visit to China was very fruitful,” Nwifuru stated.
“It was by the grace of God that we were able to achieve so much during the tour. We were warmly received by the provincial governments of Hunan and Jiangsu.”
He added that key government and business leaders in China expressed strong interest in investing in Ebonyi State to accelerate its infrastructural and economic development.
Attributing the administration’s political and economic achievements over the past three years to divine providence and strong stakeholder collaboration, the Governor commended the people of Ebonyi for their continued support and prayers.
”We are not perfect, but we pray for more grace to keep pushing in the best interest of our state,” he said.
“It is God’s grace that has protected and guided us. With your prayers and practical support, we have made tangible progress.”
Dismissing political speculations surrounding the 2027 general elections, Governor Nwifuru urged citizens to remain focused and confident in the administration’s long-term vision.
”The wheel of governance is running smoothly till 2031,” the Governor assured.
“Let us not worry unnecessarily; let us continue to trust in God.”
