Mr. Deolu Ijose, has been named the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Ibadan Electricity Distribution (IBEDC).
His appointment follows the recent reconstitution of the Company’s Board of Directors, the Coordinating Head Corporate Services of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company Plc (IBEDC), Angela Olarenwanu said on Thursday.
Mr. Ijose, who succeeds Engr. Francis Agoha,brings extensive industry experience to his new role, Olarenwaju said in a note.
He earlier served as Managing Director of Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) and as Chief Commercial Officer at IBEDC.
His deep sector knowledge and familiarity with IBEDC’s operations position him to effectively lead the company through its next phase of growth and transformation,Olarenwaju hinted.
The Board expressed confidence in Mr. Ijose’s ability to consolidate on existing gains while driving improved performance across the business.
Mr. Ijose is excited to steer the ship of the power firm, saying: “I am honoured to lead IBEDC at this critical time. We will build on the foundation already in place by prioritising operational efficiency, strengthening commercial discipline, and delivering improved service to our customers.
