PRP welcomes people of integrity- Baba Ahmed
Newly elected national chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) Hakeem Baba Ahmed has said the party welcomes only God fearing people of integrity and those seeking solutions to the challenges facing Nigeria.
Baba Ahmed stated this while announcing his election as PRP national chairman on his social media page.
He said Nigeria is in a dire situation, especially in Northern Nigeria stressing that the current leaders and their associates in the dominant parties are not working for the poor but for their interests.
He said God willing, Nigeria can be rebuilt if leaders eschew oppression and invite God-fearing citizens, who value justice and who defend the rights of the poor, to be at the helm of affairs.
“We in the PRP are genuine. If we were after positions or wealth, we would have joined APC, ADC, or PDP long ago. Instead, we remain steadfast. Give us your trust. God knows our intentions, and with His power, we will transform Nigeria,” he stated.
