According to a statement released by Mohammed’s media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, the resignations involve the Commissioner for Commerce, Industries and Investment, Mohammed Salis Gamawa, along with the former Commissioner for Education, Dr. Mohammed Lawal Rimin Zayam, who was recently reassigned to the Ministry of Power, Science and Technology. Both officials are mandated to vacate their positions effective immediately.
Additionally, Gidado disclosed that the Governor has also accepted the resignation of Hon. Faruk Mustapha, the former Commissioner for Rural Development and Special Duties.
