Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the All progressives Congress (APC) has flagged off its presidential and National Assembly campaign with a call to electorate to elect its candidates in all elective posts
Inaugurating the electioneering campaign formally, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri with some party leaders in Yola, the Adamawa state capital urged Nigerian voters to ensure they re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates across the state
Represented by his deputy, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, Fintiri said that re-election of president Tinubu will mean consolidation of his good and meaningful programs and policies which are presently changing the fortune of the country in all ramifications
“I am calling on all Adamawa voters to rally behind Tinubu and all APC candidates, from the presidential contest down to National Assembly and other elective positions”Farauta reiterated.
Farauta emphasized that the laudable achievements recorded by the President Tinubu’s led administration at the centre and that of her boss(Fintiri) at the state level are programs that have direct bearing on the populace adding that offering them opportunity will provide more dividends of democracy
Farauta while reaffirming the Finitri’s government commitment to support Tinubu and APC candidates declared that, the APC would take its campaign directly to the people through extensive door-to-door mobilisation strategy across the state
In his remarks as the APC Senatorial Candidate for Adamawa Central Senatorial District and former Zonal Chairman of the APC North East, Comrade Mustapha Salihu said that the unveiling of campaign has opened a beginning of a new dawn for Nigeria and Nigerians
Salihu urged voters to support President Tinubu, APC National Assembly candidates and other party flag bearers, arguing that continued support for the party would enable the administration to sustain its development initiatives
