Senate President Godswill Akpabio has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is implementing reforms that are restoring Nigeria’s global image despite prevailing economic challenges.
Akpabio stated this at the 8th National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He described Tinubu as a leader with the vision and foresight, noting that Nigerians have yet to see the best of the President.
“In President Tinubu, you have both sight and vision, and you are translating it into Nigeria.
“Nigerians are yet to see the best of you. Despite the difficult economy, you are turning things around and bringing dignity back to Nigeria on the world stage,” Akpabio said.
He described key policy decisions of the administration, including the removal of fuel subsidy, as evidence of good governance.
Akpabio also assured the President of the continued support of the 10th National Assembly for the administration’s programmes.
“When the House is in order and the National Assembly is aligned, Nigeria will see progress. We are sure of our control because everyone is committed to your vision,” Akpabio said.
